On the final weekend of the presidential campaign, Newsmax kicked things off with an Oct. 31 wire article noting that “Donald Trump is traveling to New Mexico and Virginia in the campaign’s final days, taking a risky detour from the seven battleground states to spend time in places where Republican presidential candidates have not won in decades.” Curiously, Newsmax did a little partisan editing of the article, changing a reference in the original to Bob Shrum as “a longtime Democratic political consultant,” to “a longtime Democrat political consultant” — reflecting right-wing pettiness against the proper name of the Democratic Party.
Then, Newsmax’s rally stenography reflex kicked in as it slavishly documented the rallies, starting with a rally in Albuquerque, N.M., Oct. 31:
Rally in Warren, Mich., Nov. 1:
Rally in Salem, Va., Nov. 2
- Trump: Harris Will Bring ‘1929-Style Depression’
- Roanoke Women Swimmers Join Trump in Sports Statement
Gastonia, N.C., Nov. 2
Trump then held three rallies on Nov. 3, as touted in an article by Mark Swanson. First, Lititz, Pa.:

- Trump Jokes Glass Only Protects Him From Media
- Trump Points Out Gaps in Pa. Rally Bullet-Proof Glass

Then, finally, in Macon, Ga.:
- In Macon, Trump Says Winning Georgia Will Win Election

- Trump: Harris’ Promises to Fix Economy ‘Big Con’
On Nov. 4, the day before the rally, Trump squeezed in one more rally, in Pittsburgh:
Nearly all of these rallies aired on Newsmax TV, it Newsmax2 streaming channel, or both.
