Michael Reagan Pushed Right-Wing Opinions Before His Death

Posted on February 18, 2026

In the months before his death in January, Newsmax columnist Michael Reagan (along with co-writer Michael Shannon) kept up his pace of hatred mixee with right-wing talking points. In a column last February, he demanded that border czar Tom Homan get serious about deporting undocumented immigrants:

Homan’s talking the talk, but now it’s time to walk the walk, because the lawbreakers have taken to the streets and are daring Homan to do something about it.

KTLA reports last Sunday, “A massive protest formed in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday in response to President Trump’s crackdown on immigration and emphasis on deportations, where protestors were on and off the 101 Freeway and on surface streets well into the evening.

“The protest, which was organized and promoted on social media, originated on the Placita Olvera on Olvera Street near DTLA. By 11:30 a.m., the protest had thousands of demonstrators and was growing in size, marching to City Hall in downtown.”

And that wasn’t the only illegal alien street festival last weekend. There were also protests in San Diego, Dallas, Arkansas, Missouri and Georgia. These are protests in direct defiance of U.S. immigration law and it’s time Homan did something about it.

These protests are full of illegals ripe for deportation. What’s more, they are no secret, as KTLA pointed out the event “was organized and promoted on social media.” It was also, no doubt, funded by many of the NGOs leeches that use tax dollars to subvert immigration law.

If Homan doesn’t want to become the paper immigration tiger, he must choose one of these protests and round up every illegal at the event.

In a Feb. 25 column, Reagan blamed liberals for California wildfires:

The bad news for California homeowners just keeps rolling in, the result of left-wing politicians letting fanatical green ideology determine fire prevention measures.

Or to be more accurate, the lack of fire prevention measures.

Left politicians elected by these same homeowners.

[…]

The California home insurance market is, dare we say it, a dumpster fire. Companies are leaving the state and those that stay, like State Farm are deciding not to write new policies and refusing to renew some policies.

This is the result of letting people who love trees more than they love people set government policy.

It could be the companies that decided to leave the state have made the best decision. We will not be surprised if homeowners, hammered by the threat of fire and the reality of soaring insurance rates, decide to follow.

In a May 10 column, Reagan cheered that transgender people were banned from the military:

Back in March we asked our readers if it would bother them to learn that approximately 25,690 mentally-ill people with a proven history of mass violence — or attempted mass violence — have access to heavy weapons at locations scattered all around the United States, and collect a paycheck from taxpayers?

We assumed the answer would be “Yes,” otherwise you wouldn’t be among our readers.

The solution to this potential problem was an executive order from President Trump banning transgender military service members.

Trump’s reasons were unimpeachable for anyone not infected with metastatic leftism.

Reagan then blamed judges for blocking the ban:

The lawsuit is lawfare and designed, as we’ve written before, to run out the clock until the midterm elections when the left-wing hopes to recapture the U.S. House and Senate and completely thwart the will of 77,303,568 voters who cast their ballots in 2024.

It’s way past time for the high court to put a stop to this perversion of the juridical process, if it has any intention of maintaining it’s credibility.

We would now like to repeat what we wrote in March:

“Discharging transgendered service members is an excellent start, but now U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth must make positively sure they are followed out the door by everyone in the chain of command who advocated for transgender approval and acceptance in the military and forced this insane policy on the sane and normal in the ranks.

Because “the enablers are probably more dangerous in the long run than the enabled.”

Reagan used a June 14 column to cheer Greta Thunberg’s purported decline in influlence:

Sweden’s poster child for premature fame, Greta Thunberg, has been milking the global warming/climate change cow for approximately seven years.

There are signs, though, that the udder may be running dry.

How long can one generate news coverage by predicting global doom, when the doom never arrives?

Since Thunberg is a Marxist first and foremost, with no real job prospects, she has to keep generating coverage or the money from wealthy, deluded donors will begin to dry up. She’s too well known to sneak into Los Angeles and join the riots there.

[…]

Meanwhile, Greta’s career as an activist has rapidly declined as an exercise in self-importance.

She’s deservedly gone from a “useful idiot” to a useless one.

Funny, we thought Reagan was the useful idiot.
