WorldNetDaily’s Joe Kovacs has dedicated several articles to President Trump lashing out at reporters for not being obedient to him. He wrote in a Nov. 18 article:
It’s not always easy being a journalist in the Oval Office.
Just ask Mary Bruce, the White House correspondent for ABC News, who was verbally shredded by President Donald Trump on Tuesday when she asked him why he himself just didn’t release the Jeffrey Epstein files without Congress getting involved.
“It’s not the question that I mind, it’s your attitude. I think you are a terrible reporter. It’s the way you ask these questions,” Trump told Bruce.
“You start off with a man who’s highly respected, asking him a horrible, insubordinate, and just a terrible question. And you could even ask that same exact question nicely. You’re all psyched up. Somebody psyched you over at ABC. You’re going to psych it. You’re a terrible person and a terrible reporter.”
Kovacs didn’t Trump calling himself “highly respected.” Kovacs huffed in a Nov. 26 article:
President Donald Trump on Wednesday went to war with a New York Times reporter who published a “hit piece” Tuesday focusing on his age and suggesting the commander in chief is losing stamina.
“The Creeps at the Failing New York Times are at it again,” Trump began in a lengthy post on Truth Social.
“The Radical Left Lunatics in the soon to fold New York Times did a hit piece on me that I am perhaps losing my Energy, despite facts that show the exact opposite. They know this is wrong, as is almost every thing that they write about me, including election results, ALL PURPOSELY NEGATIVE.
This cheap ‘RAG’ is truly an ‘ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.’ The writer of the story, Katie Rogers, who is assigned to write only bad things about me, is a third rate reporter who is ugly, both inside and out.
“Despite all of this, I have my highest Poll Numbers, ever, and with record setting investment being made in America, they should only go up.”
An anonymously written Dec. 6 article featured Trump lashing out at CNN’s Kaitlan Collins for asking a question about his planned ballroom. The anonymous reporter added: “The president has taken flack recently for name-calling directed at mostly female reporters. It is not clear if he misspelled Collins’ first name purposely.”
Kovacs followed with a Dec. 8 article:
During Monday’s roundtable discussion on the U.S. economy, President Donald Trump unloaded on another White House reporter he humiliated as “obnoxious” and “terrible.”
The journalist taking the heat this time was Rachel Scott, senior political correspondent for ABC News, who was asking the president if he were committed to releasing the entire video of a U.S. military strike Sept. 2 on a suspected narco-terrorist ship.
“Whatever [War Secretary Pete] Hegseth wants to do is OK with me,” Trump said.
“So are you committed to releasing the full video?” Scott pressed.
“Didn’t I just tell you that?” an incredulous Trump responded. “You are the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place.”
“Let me just tell you, you are an obnoxious, a terrible, actually a terrible reporter. And it’s always the same thing with you. I told you, whatever Pete Hegseth wants to do is OK with me.”
Kovacs served up more Trump stenography in a Jan. 12 article:
On his flight from “the Winter White House” in Florida to Washington, D.C., Sunday evening, President Donald Trump verbally butchered a dishonest reporter for CNN who actually tried to conceal the fact she works for the cable news network.
Shortly after the president told journalists aboard Air Force One that he’s considering military options against Iran, the reporter asked if the president had been meeting with senior officials.
“Are you asking me what will I do? Where will we attack? When? And at what angle will we attack from?” Trump replied before asking about her media affiliation. “Who are you with?”
“I’m with the U.S. White House TV pool,” the reporter replied. “I’m wondering are you being briefed on options … “
Trump pressed her for specifics, asking: “What network are you with?”
“I’m with CNN, sir,” the journalist answered.
“Why didn’t you just say I’m with CNN? She says, ‘I’m with the White House POOL.’ I say, what? You’re with CNN. You’re with fake news, because CNN is fake news.”
Despite being verbally body-slammed, the same reporter had the nerve to proffer what Trump deemed a “stupid question,” as she asked: “Do you think Iran takes your threats seriously?”
Kovacs served up more complaining from Trump in a Feb. 3 article:
President Donald Trump uncorked on CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins on Tuesday as the “worst reporter” who has allegedly never smiled in Trump’s presence in the past decade.
As Collins tried to ask a question in the Oval Office about the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, Trump told her directly: ‘You are so bad. You are the worst reporter. No wonder CNN has no ratings because of people like you.
“You know, she’s a young woman,” Trump added. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile. I’ve known you for 10 years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smile on your face.”
Collins interjected: “Well, I’m asking about survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, Mr. President.”
“You know why you’re not smiling?” Trump continued. “Because you know you’re not telling the truth. You’re a very dishonest organization and they should be ashamed of you.”
Kovacs did not note Collins’ response to Trump.
