Newsmax unsurprisingly went all out to cover the memorial service for Charlie Kirk — which it aired live, of course — devoting articles to pretty much every speaker at it:

Speaking to tens of thousands in Arizona on Sunday at the memorial service for murdered conservative leader Charlie Kirk, political commentator Tucker Carlson described Kirk as an “evangelist.”
Carlson told the packed crowd that “Charlie would have loved this, not just because he loved large groups of people, but because ultimately he was a Christian evangelist. “
He said, “This is the most unbelievable thing I think I’ve ever seen. And whatever happens next in America, I hope it’s in this direction because God is here and you can feel it.”
Carlson focused on one of Kirk’s strengths.”The main thing about Charlie and his message, he was bringing the gospel to the country. He was doing the thing that the people in charge hate most, which is calling for them to repent.”
But Mishler omitted the part where Carlson told a story filled with anti-Semitic innuendo, involving “a lamplit room with a bunch of guys sitting around and eating hummus” discussing what to do about Jesus for “telling the truth about people.” Mediaite pointed out the bipartisan criticism of Carlson — but Mishler said nothing about it, and no other Newsmax story referenced it, though it’s in the video of Carlson’s speech accompanying Mishler’s article.
Instead, there was a Sept. 25 article boasting that “Newsmax today proudly announced that the Company’s live coverage of the Charlie Kirk Remembrance Service from Phoenix delivered record-setting ratings, with over eight million Americans tuning in across its television platforms.” Newsmax clearly knows what matters — and it’s not about informing its readers.
