WND Continues Lawfare War Against Judge Boasberg

Posted on March 31, 2026

WorldNetDaily’s partisan war against federal judge James Boasberg for committing the offense of ruling against President Trump continued in an Oct. 30 article by Bob Unruh:

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has called for the immediate impeachment of an anti-Trump federal judge who has been revealed to have taken part in a scheme to spy on the telephone records of a long list of sitting U.S. senators.

It is Judge James Boasberg who is the subject of criticism.

He’s already, according to an analysis by experts, been revealed as a judge who made himself “like a foreign diplomat” in insisting the Trump administration following his agenda on foreign affairs.

Boasberg long has fought President Donald Trump’s efforts to secure the nation’s borders and remove illegal alien criminals.

He’s gone so far as to try to enforce his own order despite a decision by the U.S. Supreme Court overturning him.

He was the judge who even tried to order Trump to tell airplanes carrying illegal alien criminals, that already had left American airspace, to return to the U.S. with the criminals.

Unruh followed up with a Nov. 17 article aiming pin something new on Boasberg:

Members of the U.S. Senate are asking the chief judge in the Washington district to suspend James Boasberg while an impeachment case against him develops.

Boasberg was the judge who was an active participant in the Democrats’ lawfare against President Donald Trump as far back as the 2016 presidential election, that vote stained by the fabricated “Russiagate” scandal that used lies to try to injure Trump.

Boasberg’s long activism against Trump extends far beyond his pursuit of the Democrats’ “Arctic Frost” investigation against Trump, too.

The letter explains there is bicameral support for an impeachment of Boasberg, who was accused of improperly assigning himself a case for which the Supreme Court later found he lacked jurisdiction.

He’s tried to enforce his own orders despite being overturned by the Supreme Court.

Now the Washington Examiner said senators led by Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., are pressing the federal judiciary for a Boasberg suspension.

They cite the latest scandal involving Boasberg, his decision to authorize Biden administration investigators to access the telephone records of multiple senators – without informing them.

Unruh raged further in a Dec. 23 article:

An anti-Trump activist sitting in his own federal courtroom has told the Trump administration to bring back to America about 100 suspected terror gang members.

They must be returned and given what he considers “due process” under the ruling from Judge James Boasberg, a longtime Trump detractor whose agenda against the president dates back to the judge’s involvement in the “Russiagate” conspiracy theory lies from nearly a decade ago.

Boasberg also was the judge who, when the Trump administration was deporting those identified as Tren de Aragua terror gang members to Venezuela earlier this year, ordered the jets carrying the offenders to return to the United States, without evidence of any consideration whether the jets had enough fuel to do that.

The administration confirmed that the jets already were in international airspace, so Boasberg’s jurisdiction had ended.

In none of these articles did Unruh give Boasberg or any defender of him an opportunity to respond. The same goes for a Nov. 4 article by Joe Kovacs:

U.S. Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, filed articles of impeachment Tuesday against “radical activist” Judge James Boasberg for his role in the “Arctic Frost” probe in which Joe Biden’s Justice Department sought phone records to spy on Republicans in Congress.

“Judge Boasberg abused his power by weaponizing the judiciary against critics of the Biden Administration,” Gill said on X.

“As part of the Arctic Frost Investigation, Judge Boasberg signed off on frivolous nondisclosure orders to conceal the fact that sitting US Senators were being surveilled. Not only was this action egregiously improper; it was a gross violation of the separation of powers.

“Judge Boasberg is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors, is unfit for office, and should be impeached.”

WND also reprinted a Nov. 2 article from the discredited Gateway Pundit, headline “Mike Benz: Here are 3 criminal charges James Boasberg committed in Arctic Frost scandal for which Pam Bondi could immediately arrest the crooked judge.” No one was allowed to counter right-wing activist Benz.
