The August issue of WorldNetDaily’s sparsely read Whistleblower magazine is themed “TRUMP, AMERICA … AND DEMOCRATS’ ALL-OUT PLAN TO STEAL THE 2024 ELECTION,” and the promo copy shows the alternate universe WND lives in:
America in late 2024 has become a surreal, almost phantasmagoric drama of shocks, horrors and wonders – including a widespread conviction that Almighty God Himself reached down and dramatically saved Donald Trump from an assassin’s bullet that came within a fraction of an inch of blowing the former president’s brains out.
All the surrounding chaos – Joe Biden being forced out of the 2024 presidential race, leaving radical leftist Kamala Harris as the Democrats’ nominee; the ongoing full-scale invasion of America by millions of illegal aliens including myriad drug dealers, sex traffickers, mental patients, gang members, criminals and terrorists; skyrocketing crime, inflation, and every other societal horror, all shepherded, nurtured and funded by the Biden-Harris regime – continues to ravage the nation.
Thus, good Americans desperately, yet hopefully and prayerfully, look to November’s election as their one doorway to national survival, sanity and restoration.
But there’s a problem.
However unspeakably bad everything has gotten during the administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, one reality remains unchanged: Today’s far-left Democratic Party is single-mindedly obsessed with retaining and expanding its power, no matter what. And that means Democrats, in close collaboration with the Deep State, the legacy news media, Big Tech and other corporate allies, will do absolutely anything and everything within their power to rig, corrupt and steal the 2024 election.
Understand: Today’s leftist elites are not only perfectly comfortable with cheating in every way possible to retain power; they secretly believe they have a moral mandate to win – no matter what.
How can that possibly be? Rigging elections is not just illegal, immoral and unconstitutional. It’s literally suicidal for any nation.
No mention of the fact that the only attempted “rigging” that actually happened in 2020 was Donald Trump inciting a riot at the Capitol because he couldn’t emotionally handle the fact that he lost — and that none of the “election fraud” claims WND and other right-wingers have peddled since then to justify the violence has been proven correct. Apparently, that;s quite all right because the intended outcome meshed with his partisan political philosophy.
Managing editor David Kupelian’s essay for the issue included a screed against Kamala Harris, whom he denounced as “a shallow, pretentious, dishonest, arrogant, chameleon-like and gratingly unlikable human being” who allegedly committed “arrogant cruelty” toward her employees and “lies continually and audaciously,” going on to repeat Elon Musk’s unsubstantiated claim that she is “quite literally a communist.”
He then hypocritically followed those complaints by whining that “Democrats and the major news media have relentlessly portrayed Donald J. Trump as the virtual incarnation of evil.” Um, isn’t that exactly what he just did to Harris? That was followed by rehashing his usual whining that Trump has been likened to Hitler — despite the fact that Kupelian and WND spent the entirety of Barack Obama’s presidency likening him to Hitler. He continued:
So, then, the Trump-is-Hitler delusion can serve as the unspoken justification for the most insane and destructive policies imaginable – say, flooding America with millions of illegal aliens. In normal times, this would universally be regarded as a treasonous policy since it degrades, damages and largely destroys the host country. But then, what if those same illegal aliens were somehow enabled to vote in U.S. elections – and could be counted on to vote against Hitler?
That might just be OK, according to the left’s logic.
Kupelian won’t admit he thought it was OK to liken Obama to Hitler to justify his hatred. He concluded with a demand that people vote for Trump and an attack on anyone who doesn’t:
With all of this swirling madness, it’s easy to lose hope. Don’t. There’s still real hope for America. All sane people must, of course, vote for Trump. No protest votes, no Libertarian votes, no RFK Jr. votes, no “I’m-a-Christian-and-not-involved-in-worldly-things-like-politics” excuses. They can also sign up others to vote and volunteer at their polling place and support organizations actively working to maximize election integrity and minimize fraud, like True the Vote and Turning Point USA and Protect the Vote.
And they can, and truly must, fervently pray. Indeed, remember God’s shining promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Kupelian linked to a 2020 column in which made a similar demand, attacking “prominent Christians who refuse to support Trump because of his perceived character flaws.” Trump’s character flaws are “perceived”? No, they’re blindingly obvious to anyone who’s not in the Trump cult like Kupelian is. Indeed, his response to that complaint was “Trump is not a perfect person. Neither am I and neither are you. Get over it.” We’re pretty sure (though not completely so) that Kupelian has never committed felonies, sexually assaulted women or paid hush money to a porn star. Further, his citing of True the Vote as a group that purportedly cares about “election integrity” ignores the fact that the film it was involved in making, “2000 Mules,” has been discredited and withdrawn from distribution, and that when given the opportunity to present evidence in court of improprieties in Georgia elections in 2020 and 2021, it refused.
The funny thing is that this screed came a few paragraphs after Kupelian quoted Charles Krauthammer saying, To understand the workings of American politics, you have to understand this fundamental law: Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil.” It’s abundantly — and hypocritically — clear that Kupelian believes anyone who’s not as far-right as he is, and similarly willing to overlook Trump’s sociopathic behavior in order to gain power, is evil.
Of course, all this pre-emptive screeching about the election being “stolen” is simply to set up the bogus narrative that any election that Trump loses cannot possibly be legitimate and to justify any act of violence done to further that narrative. Kupelian won’t admit that part either.
