As we approach the Aug. 19 Democratic National Convention, vice president and presumptive presidential nominee Kamala Harris is expected to announce her choice of a running mate.
But what happens if no one wants the job?
After all, no one wants to be associated with a losing campaign.
[…]But lately Democratic presidential nominees tend to choose someone who is perceived as being dumber and less capable than themselves, possibly to act as a shield against impeachment.
That may be why Barack Obama tapped Joe Biden as his running mate, and Biden chose then-California Sen. Kamala Harris as his vice president.
He didn’t need California’s votes; he already had them.
He needed someone who was believed to be less capable than even he was.
However, not only would Harris be hard-pressed to find someone less qualified and likable than herself, but if she did, that would make her chances of being elected even slimmer than they already are.
And Harris is what you get when you bypass the democratic process, and she’s one more reason she has to be defeated in November.
Otherwise, we’ll end up with someone having the likability of Hillary Clinton, the integrity of Anthony Fauci, and the intellect of Joe Biden.

We’ve all read it in the headlines and heard it on the evening news: Democrats are excited over their new standard bearer.
They’re crazy for Kamala, and hell-bent for Harris, and they’re showing their enthusiasm with record-breaking fundraising.
Within 24 hours of President Joe Biden being ignobly forced off the ticket and replaced with his vice president, Democrats reported a record $81 million in funds raised — much of it in small donations.
“The historic outpouring of support for Vice President Harris represents exactly the kind of grassroots energy and enthusiasm that wins elections,” campaign spokesman Kevin Munoz said.
But what if it’s all a scam?
What if all that “grassroots energy and enthusiasm” isn’t so “grassroots” after all?

The choice of Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., as presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ running mate says everything you need to know about the state of their party in 2024.
The Democratic Party has swung far to the left, and their base is increasingly anti-Semitic.
[…]The Harris-Walz campaign website offers no platform, no policy position, no hint as to what issues they support, or how they would govern if elected. It just asks for money and promises “to defeat Donald Trump.”
The Trump-Vance campaign website, by contrast, lists 20 items in its platform, addressing issues such as immigration, taxation, and election security.
But in truth Harris doesn’t have to reveal a platform. Her history as the Senate’s most liberal member, and her selection of Walz as a running mate, say more than mere words ever could.
Harris’ history and vice-presidential choice say she’s too un-American for America — she’s the “not ready for prime time candidate,” and God willing, will never again hold any position of power.

In the weeks since Vice President Kamala Harris was coronated presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, she has yet to announce a platform, claiming instead that her campaign is all about “joy.”
But when you scratch beneath the surface you’ll discover something far darker, more sinister, and definitely un-American — an indication that the Democratic Party of today would have been unrecognizable to our parents and grandparents.
[…]It’s been three weeks since President Biden announced he wouldn’t seek reelection and endorsed Harris for the job.
But in that time the Harris-Walz website gives no indication of what they stand for.
Truthfully, they don’t have to. “Tell me what company you keep, and I’ll tell you what you are,” the adage goes.
Theirs’ is a campaign of thugs, Jew-haters, sneak thieves, and terrorists — and they reflect today’s Democratic Party.

After nearly four weeks into her campaign to become the 47th president of the United States, Vice President Kamala Harris is set to announce her first major policy statement today.
Were he alive today, this one would warm the cockles of Karl Marx’s heart.
She wants to set price controls on groceries, through what would be the first-ever federal ban on “corporate price-gouging on food and groceries — setting clear rules of the road to make clear that big corporations can’t unfairly exploit consumers to run up excessive corporate profits on food and groceries,” the Harris-Walz campaign said in a statement.
But that begs the question, what constitutes “excessive corporate profits”? And as far as that goes, what business is it of the federal government to limit profits in the first place?
[…]And it’s significant that in the 26 days since Harris was coronated as her party’s presidential nominee without a single vote from the people, she’s managed to come up with only the two policy announcements — and she had to copy them both.
She lifted one from her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, and the second from her lifetime hero, Karl Marx.
If Harris truly wants to identify the root cause of inflation, she has only to look into a mirror.

Harris’ record as senator and vice president isn’t any better, making them all titles without accomplishment.
She does have one accomplishment she’s had all her life — she the nation’s No. 1 diversity hire. Harris is:
- The first Black-Asian district attorney in San Francisco history
- The first Black-Asian attorney general in California history
- The first Black-Asian U.S. senator in American history; and,
- The first Black-Asian vice president in U.S. history.
And in the end, Harris serves as the best example of why we should never select our leaders on the basis of diversity.
She’s a reminder that merit-based hiring is always best. In a phrase often associated with John F. Kennedy, a Democrat of an earlier age, we should select only “the best and the brightest.”
And that phrase doesn’t come close to fitting Kamala Harris.
