The ConWeb really, really hated the recent “Snow White” movie for reasons that have little to do with the movie itself. Don Feder ranted in his March 25 WorldNetDaily column:
Disney had a Hollywood “premiere” for its new live-action “Snow White” that did not have the usual excitement – no guests were on hand; only Disney’s employees were present. The red carpet remained rolled up.
The House of Mouse took the charming 1937 classic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” – beloved by millions – and turned it into a feminist rant.
Its star, Rachel Zegler, spouts the most awful drivel.
Zegler slammed the original version, saying Prince Charming “literally stalks” Snow White.
Her princess is “not going to be saved by the prince, and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love,” Zegler declared. Instead, Snow Woke will be the Betty Friedan she always knew she could be – “fearless, fair, brave and true.”
All that’s missing is a couple of transgendered dwarfs. Naturally, Zegler also hates President Trump (“a man who threatens our democracy”) and supports the Palestinian cause.
The queen, played by Gal Gadot, provides a vivid contrast. The Israeli actress is the mother of four, served in the Israel Defense Forces and champions the Jewish State.
Unsurprisingly, showings of “Snow White” – which opened nationally on March 21 – aren’t exactly sold out. Why should moviegoers pay $12 for indoctrination when they can get the same thing for free on CNN?
Snow Woke is symptomatic of the feminism that infests every aspect of the culture – anti-man, anti-woman and anti-family. The ideology has had the same effect on our society as Dylan Mulvaney on Bud Light sales.

As expected, Snow White’s remake and its lecturing leading lady’s career blew up like a Hezbollah pager this week.
It turns out, nobody wants to line up to be yelled at by a princess-turned two-dimensional boss lady whose kingdom of comrades waged a cultural revolution on their childhood classics.
Will our self-appointed entertainment overlords get a clue when they take a look at their movie’s whopping IMDB rating of 1.3 out of 10 this week? Or when their wallets suddenly feel light after losing millions?
Of course not.
In a way, the mousy main character syndrome disaster of Snow Woke perfectly encapsulates the outdated and out-of-touch progressives who still believe they have their thumb on our culture.
The self-congratulating actress, her meager fanbase of adult children and their faceless internet mob have convinced themselves for years that their Marxist agenda places them above everyone as the moral authority. When the rest of the world tunes out, they blame society, of course!
It seems the Left needs to take a sobering look at the Magic Mirror, most of all.

None of these writers talked about the actual movie itself, though Morley made a passing reference to “remake fatigue, the questionable CGI, and the controversy surrounding the dwarf casting.”
