Wayne Allyn Root is not a big fan of foreigners in the United States. He raged in a March 15 column:
My free speech is protected because I’m an American citizen.
But foreign visa holders (and illegal foreign invaders) do not have those same rights. It’s a privilege for any foreigner to be in this country – and that privilege can and should be revoked anytime a foreigner preaches violence, or death, or hatred, or racism, on our American soil – or anytime a foreigner is deemed a threat to national security, or the safety of American citizens.
A foreign visa is a privilege. Why should we allow you into America if you hate America, or its Jewish and Christian citizens? Why should we allow you to stay while protesting this country and our values, or promoting violence against our citizens?
Then he pivoted to personal grievances:
As usual, liberals (i.e., radical communist traitors) are on the wrong side of the issue. Aren’t they always?
Liberals never fought to protect my free speech rights under former President Joe Biden. I’m an American citizen, yet Democrats and my own government tried to destroy my free speech. Democrats acted like the Soviet KGB or Nazi Gestapo under Biden (and his boss Barack Obama).
They tried to censor, silence and demonize me – and millions of conservatives like me.
They tried to shut us up and demonetize our free speech everywhere – TV, radio, podcasts, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok – and get us fired from our jobs and careers. They tried to de-bank us. They used the IRS and other government agencies to attack and intimidate us.
All for believing in all-American patriotic and conservative beliefs, or for disagreeing with the lies, fraud and propaganda of government.
Root cited no actual example of this actually happening to him. We’ve noted that Root has previously complained about being audited by the IRS — but that was because he was doing the sort of creative accounting that tends to draw IRS scrutiny, such as declaring 88 percent of his income nontaxable in 2007 and filing a Schedule C return.
Root raged further at foreigners who have different opinions than him in his June 15 column:
You saw the images in Los Angeles this past week. Riots, looting, burning, anarchy, Mexican flags flying.
I don’t mean to brag, but I left Los Angeles 23 years ago. Smart move, huh?
I saw all this coming.
[…]Boy, did I make the right move escaping from s–-hole L.A.
After seeing the scenes in Los Angeles of these violent protests/riots, complete with ignorant ingrates flying Mexican flags, I predict pretty much every decent person left in Los Angeles will be making plans to escape to my hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada (or nearby red states like Texas, Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Montana).
Before I get to the idea that I sent to President Donald Trump, let me share my tweet from Sunday about these protestors and rioters:
“RAW TRUTH: It’s simply stunning to see Mexicans who broke into our country because they hated living in their own 3rd world s–-hole, now flying Mexican flags as they riot and try to burn down Los Angeles. So, if you love Mexico so much, why aren’t you happy to go back? Why are you rioting to stay here? You should be flying American flags & kissing the ground of this great country. But you obviously hate us for allowing you to stay after you broke in. Now you have to go … Get the hell out of our country, you ungrateful fools!
“P.S. If I flew a U.S. flag while rioting in Mexico, I’d be killed by police, or drug cartels, or murdered in prison.”
Now to my idea. I predict it will become even more important in the coming days as riots spread to many American cities this weekend and the rest of this summer threatens to become a repeat of the 2020 “BLM Summer of Love.”
I sent this message directly to President Trump:
We need to send a message that this kind of anarchy won’t be tolerated anymore. We need to ID each and every one of these violent, ignorant ingrates. Then arrest them and deport them.
Root offered no evidence that every single undocumented immigrant in the U.S. is a “violent, ignorant ingrate.”
Root had more ideas in an Aug. 9 column co-written with “retired Deputy Patrol Agent In Charge for San Diego Sector, J.J. Carrell,” headlined “Top 10 ways to deport all 50 million illegal aliens in the U.S.,” which began this way:
First, there is nothing we are asking for President Trump to do that has not already been done. There is nothing we are asking President Trump to do that is not already supported by existing laws and our U.S. Constitution. Three previous presidents – Hoover, Truman and Eisenhower – already used their Executive Authority to remove millions of illegal aliens from our nation.
As we’ve documented, Eisenhower’s “Operation Wetback” likely returned much fewer immigrants to Mexico than the “millions” Root claims, and it mostly a PR stunt that resulted in immigrants being housed in deplorable conditions with a number of them dying while being transported back to Mexico. But Root must fearmonger some more about brown people:
Based on Border Agent J.J. Carrell’s 24 years of experience on the border, and through extensive research, we believe the real number of illegal aliens allowed into America under Biden was 25 to 30 million.
So, it is a fact that as many as 50 million illegal aliens live in America. That equates to over one in six residents of the USA.
This is a demographic time bomb that is ready to explode, right in time for the 2030 census. It is also a time bomb when it comes to violent crime, gangs, drugs, homelessness, organized retail theft, overcrowded public schools, overwhelmed health care system, the explosion of spending and debt, and the introduction of third-world disease into America.
In short, this third-world invasion is turning America into a third-world craphole.
Root unsurprisingly offers no actual hard data to back up that number. From there, it was on to those “immediate Top 10 actions designed by the combined team of Wayne Allyn Root and J.J. Carrell to successfully and quickly deport 50 million illegal aliens,” which mostly involve ramping up military and law enforcement. Then it was on to semi-related things:
5. To make this ban of illegal alien employees work, all these foreign workers will have to be replaced by U.S. citizens. To accomplish that goal, every U.S. citizen must be required to get a job, or lose all welfare benefits. This new pool of legal U.S. citizens will fill the jobs of illegal aliens.
6. We need to tax remittance monies sent outside the USA at rates so high, as to make sending the monies no longer feasible.
7. The GOP-controlled Congress must pass voter photo ID (including photo and thumbprint – exactly like Mexico uses for elections) for federal elections, and an additional voting law demanding proof of citizenship for federal elections.
8. President Trump must use Executive Action to institute “Census Security Reform” that permanently bans the counting of noncitizens.
9. Self-deportation will save America hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars, versus carrying out forced deportation. We recommend President Trump offer a generous $5,000 bonus to each illegal who self-deports.
Finally, Root demanded that Trump be given more unlimited power:
10. Finally, we point out that an invasion of 50 million foreigners – including MS-13, Tren de Aragua, Hamas, Hezbollah and Chinese military-age males – is absolutely positively a NATIONAL EMERGENCY.
Therefore, President Trump must publicly announce that this border invasion is now officially declared a national emergency.
Declare that Joe Biden, Border Czar Kamala Harris and HHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas committed treason by opening the borders and welcoming in tens of millions of foreign invaders. As a result, the Trump DOJ will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
Tyrant suck-ups like Root are always in favor of giving his suck-up targets more power to punish political enemies.
