Dick Morris spent the first half of 2025 being a loyal shill for the Trump administration at Newsmax, with added rote bashing of Democrats. For instance:

Surprisingly, Morris did stray from his right-wing script on occasion. He fretted about Trump’s declared plans for Gaza in a Feb. 8 TV appearance:
Donald Trump’s extensive plans to rebuild Gaza “could be a mistake,” Dick Morris, who has been an adviser for the president and for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, told Newsmax Saturday.
“While Netanyahu applauded Trump’s involvement with Gaza and talked about it, I think it could be a mistake,” Morris told Newsmax’s “Saturday Report.”
Earlier this week, Trump appeared with Netanyahu and outlined a plan to permanently remove all displaced Palestinians from Gaza, with the United States to take control of the war-torn region when fighting concludes.
Morris Heathered a couple of fellow Republicans in a May 17 appearance:
The Republican lawmakers who blocked President Donald Trump’s budget bill claimed fiscal conservatism, which is inconsistent with the bill’s $1.6 trillion in spending cuts, says Dick Morris, an adviser to Trump.
“They say that they vote against it because they’re fiscal hawks,” Morris said Friday during an appearance on Newsmax’s “The Count.”
“But that’s absurd,” he said.
He also underscored the significance of the bill’s spending reductions, noting, “this bill cuts 1.6 trillion in real federal spending. It’s the only cut in federal spending we’ve ever had. Anything approaching this order of magnitude.”
But mostly, he remained on point with his narratives. He huffed in a June 14 appearance:
Sen. Alex Padilla, the California Democrat who was forcibly removed from a press conference being held by Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem this week after trying to ask her questions, was attempting to pull off a political stunt, Dick Morris, an adviser for President Donald Trump, told Newsmax on Saturday.
“It’s really a show for their own constituency,” Morris said on Newsmax’s “The Count.” “I’ve said that I think that Democrats always react to electoral defeats by moving to the left and becoming more and more outrageous and more and more strident in their demands.”
We’ve documented how framing Padilla’s detention as a “stunt” was very much the right-wing narrative. It’s like Morris gets talking points assigned to him that he must spout on Newsmax.
