Bob Unruh dutifully wrote in an Oct. 2 WorldNetDaily article:
A campaign to cancel Netflix services has exploded online after X, Tesla and SpaceX owner Elon Musk condemned the streaming service’s efforts to transgenderize children and millions paid attention.
It is “not OK,” he said, when Libs of TikTok explained Netflix’s “Dead End Paranormal Park” was pushing “pro-transgender on CHILDREN.”
The show, advertised for 7-year-olds, also prompted the “Parents – BEWARE” warning online.
[…]The movement immediately exploded, with documentation after documentation of the corporation’s sex-oriented agenda for children, even drawing criticism from a self-described “gay.”
Others warned the corporation had turned Alexander The Great “gay” within minutes of a program’s beginning.
It was blasted for having a cartoon boy in a dress dancing with two “dads.”
The main point of ire for Musk, though, is a cartoon show called “Dead End Paranormal Park,” which has a transgender character. Neither Unruh nor any of the LGBT-haters he quoted explained how the mere peresence of a non-heterosexual character equates to “transgenderizing children,” as his headline states. Unruh was silent on the fact that the show’s creator has been targeted with hateful messages and threats as a result of Musk’s hate — perhaps because he approves of that harassment.
Unruh also failed to mention that Musk has a transgender child, who he has declared to be “dead” following her transition, suggesting that this is all about displaced anger.
As for the complaint that a Netflix film about Alexander the Great turned him “gay” (scare quotes are Unruh’s), perhaps because that’s what the historical record strongly suggests — which Unruh doesn’t mention.
An anonymously written article followed up the next day:
A campaign to cancel and boycott Netflix over its “woke” programming that routinely sexualizes young children has triggered a $15 billion plunge in the company’s value this week, according to reports.
The campaign, which already had been put in action by multiple value-based organizations, got a huge boost this week from Elon Musk.
He posted on social media multiple times recommending that parents cancel Netflix.
And now the Gateway Pundit said the company had hemorrhaged $15 billion in value.
“Netflix is in free fall,” the report said, “The streaming giant lost more than $15 billion in market value in just one week, according to Forbes, after Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk urged his 227 million followers to cancel their subscriptions ‘for the health of your kids.'”
Musk had been triggered by a Netflix cartoon called “Dead End: Paranormal Park,” which promotes transgenderism and bisexualism for children.
Again, it wasn’t explained how the mere existence of non-heterosexual characters equates to “promotion.” Meanwhile, as less discredited outlets than Gateway Pundit have pointed out, Musk’s hate-driven boycott is unlikely to dent Netflix’s income because any alleged cancellations would likely be offset by increased ad revenue.
Neither article allowed anyone to respond to the attacks of Musk and his fellow homophobes.
Meanwhile, WND has been silent about a subscription boycott that actually was successful. Subscription cancellations for Disney+ spiked after its ABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel over comments related to Charlie kirk.
