Newsmax’s Mamdani meltdowns continued as the New York City mayor’s race continued. For instance:

- GOP Ads Hit Democrats After Jeffries Endorses ‘Radical Socialist’ Mamdani
- Suffolk Poll: Cuomo Cuts Mamdani’s Lead in Half in NYC
- Robert Davi to Newsmax: Backing Mamdani Is ‘Endemic’ to New Yorkers
Going into the weekend before the election, Newsmax served up a little more propaganda for its preferred candidate, Curtis Sliwa:
- NYC Councilman to Newsmax: Sliwa Is Commonsense Choice for Mayor
- Sliwa to Newsmax: ‘I’m the Happy Warrior’ Candidate for NYC Mayor
But it also published an article in which its favorite right-wing pollster, Jim McLaughlin, complained that Sliwa “failed to mobilize President Donald Trump’s base in New York City — a mistake that could hand the race to far-left democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani.”
Newsmax also took an anyone-but-Mamdani approach with a Nov. 1 article citing a poll it liked:
A new poll in New York City’s mayoral race shows that Democrat candidate Zohran Mamdani’s lead over former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the independent in the race, has dropped to 6.6 percentage points and that Cuomo would come out ahead without Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa in the race.
The poll, released Saturday by Atlas Intel, gives Mamdani, the democratic socialist assemblyman, his smallest lead from any survey since July.
A Nov. 3 article cited another Atas Intel poll claiming that “Independent Andrew Cuomo would beat democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani in the New York City mayoral race if Republican Curtis Sliwa were not running.”
There were the usual Mamdani meltdowns as well:

- Pete King to Newsmax: ‘Suicidal’ If Mamdani Elected Mayor
- Trump: ‘Highly Unlikely’ to Fund NYC Under Mamdani
- Envoy Akunis: Mamdani Poses ‘Clear and Immediate Threat’ to NYC’s Jews
Newsmax columnists continued to have meltdowns as well. Kent Ingle used his Nov. 3 column to blame education:
A political earthquake is about to hit New York City.
Zohran Mamdani, a self-proclaimed socialist and rising star of the far left, is now leading the race to become mayor of America’s largest city. According to recent polling, he is ahead of his nearest competitor by double digits. If you want to see what decades of unchecked radicalism in higher education leads to, look no further than this campaign.
Zohran is not a political fluke. He is the product of a system. His father, Mahmood Mamdani, has spent decades at Columbia University championing Marxist theory and anti-Western ideology from one of the most influential academic platforms in the country.
[…]The ideology that captured our universities is no longer content to stay on campus.
It wants to write the rules for cities, school boards, and entire generations.
And unless we confront it, it will.
Larry Bell huffed the same day:
Tuesday’s New York mayoral race outcome will inevitably determine a just-in-time or all-too-late wake-up call to prevent Marxist ideology and control obsession from obliterating the vibrant economic and social character of our nation’s largest and arguably most quintessentially multi-cultural city.
And this result will be far more consequential than just impacting our nation’s central financial capital.
America is at a pivotal point of choosing between socialism and the freedoms of a representative federal democracy, one which has made us the most prosperous, generous, strongest, freest and, yes, fairest nation on Earth.
[…]If elected, Zohran Mamdani will not only be New York’s worst nightmare but will signify our nation’s greatest growing threat as well.
Let’s fervently hope they wake up in time.
We know what happened after that. More soon.
