WorldNetDaily writer Bob Unruh has long minimized the violence of the Capitol riot, and he did more of the same in a Sept. 26 article:
For years, ever since the January 6, 2021, protest at the U.S. Capital, a protest intended to raise questions about the legitimacy of the Joe Biden presidential race win, a protest that turned violent for a percentage of the protesters and included a police officer shooting and killing an unarmed Ashli Babbitt, there have been questions about what the FBI did to instigate trouble.
After all, that was the FBI that had falsely created a “Russiagate” investigation of President Donald Trump on no more than the desire of failed Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, whose scheme to link Trump to Moscow has been explained to Barack Obama.
Now a report in the Blaze reveals the bureau had 274 plainclothes agents embedded in those crowds.
“Disclosure by the FBI to Congress answers a long-simmering question but does not reveal what the agents did that day,” the report explained.
Uneuh did mention that the contradicted previous findings — but did not disclose that the officers were wrought in after the riot was concluded because, according to Sen. Amy Klobuchar, “there was such a delay in bringing in the military to assist in what was essentially an insurrection where over 100 police officers were injured or maimed because of this criminal activity at the Capitol.” Klobuchar added that no less that FBI director Kash Patel conceded that the officers were “brought in after the fact.”
Unruh then went after Nancy Pelosi, as he is prone to do:
There was a Democrat-biased committee assembled by ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi several years ago assigned to “investigate” the events that day. Its members orchestrated evidence and testimony in order to place blame on President Donald Trump.
One of the factors involved was that Pelosi refused to seat GOP nominees for the committee, instead insisting on picking only her own candidates.
In fact, Pelosi left the door open for Repubican appointees to the committee after she rejected two of the first five, but then-House speaker Kevin McCarthy threw a fit and pulled his entire slate of nominees, giving Pelosi the opportunity to name them all, which included some Republicans.
Unruh went on to cite the discredited Gateway Pundit to dubiously claim “20 different confirmed incidents and operations involving federal, state, and local government operatives who infiltrated the massive Trump crowds.”
UPDATE: Joe Kovacs wrote in an Oct. 13 article that President Trump called out Attorney General pam Bondi “for lack of action concerning the revelation of 274 FBI agents in the Capitol crowd on Jan. 6, 2021.” Kovacs censored the fact that the agents appeared after the riot, not during it.
