WND Keeps Up Trump’s War On Boasberg For Ruling Against Him

WorldNetDaily’s Trump-endorsed war on judge James Boasberg for daring to rule against the Trump administration continued with a March 23 article by Joe Kovacs:

The nation’s top cop says the highest court in America will “get involved” in the cases of “out-of-control” federal judges who are working to thwart the agenda of President Donald Trump.

Appearing on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said concerning U.S. District Judge James Boasberg halting deportation flights of violent criminals, “The Supreme Court will get involved.”

“This is an out-of-control judge, a federal judge trying to control our entire foreign policy and he cannot do it.”

Bob Unruh harrumphed in a March 24 article:

A federal judge says he won’t allow President Donald Trump to protect Americans by removing illegal alien criminals from America’s shores by using an existing federal law, the Alien Enemies Act, in a move that solidifies the perception that he wants to control America’s international policies.

Reports confirmed that James Boasberg, a judge in Washington, Monday denied the Trump administration’s move to lift a temporary block on deporting alleged Venezuelan gang members .

Boasberg insists that the illegal aliens have American right to challenge whether they qualify.

Boasberg, who has his position thanks to Barack Obama, said the Constitution’s due process requirements apply to foreign criminals.

Unruh served up Trump stenography in a March 27 article:

Dozens and dozens of lawsuit have been filed and have been given to leftist judges who liberally have issued an unprecedented number of injunctions preventing the president from deporting illegal alien criminals, as James Boasberg did, cutting spending, eliminating waste and fraud, securing the nation’s border, eliminating the politicized DEI agenda from government and more.

And Trump now has singled out Boasberg, who also recently was given another case against Trump to handle, for a recommendation for an “immediate investigation … before it is too late!”

Democrats, in fact, have been using courts and leftist judges as just about their only opposition to Trump’s plans, as the American public largely is lining up in support of the president.

Trump wrote, “How disgraceful is it that ‘Judge’ James Boasberg has just been given a fourth ‘Trump Case,’ something which is, statistically, IMPOSSIBLE. There is no way for a Republican, especially a TRUMP REPUBLICAN, to win before him. He is Highly Conflicted, not only in his hatred of me — Massive Trump Derangement Syndrome! — but also, because of disqualifying family conflicts. Boasberg, who is the Chief Judge of the D.C. District Court, seems to be grabbing the ‘Trump Cases’ all to himself, even though it is not supposed to happen that way. Is there still such a thing as the ‘wheel,’ where the Judges are chosen fairly, and at random? The good news is that it probably doesn’t matter, because it is virtually impossible for me to get an Honest Ruling in D.C. Our Nation’s Courts are broken, with New York and D.C. being the most preeminent of all in their Corruption and Radicalism. There must be an immediate investigation of this Rigged System, before it is too late!”

There was more Trump stenography in a March 30 article by Kovacs:

President Donald Trump is again blasting left-leaning judges who are taking extraordinary measures to thwart his deportations of violent criminal illegal aliens.

“People are shocked by what is going on with the Court System,” Trump said Sunday on Truth Social.

[…]

“If it was up to District Judge Boasberg and other Radical Left Judges, nobody would be removed, the President wouldn’t be allowed to do his job, and people’s lives would be devastated all throughout our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The president has previously pushed for the impeachment of Judge James Boasberg, labeling him a “troublemaker” as the federal judge unsuccessfully ordered deportation planes in the air to return criminals back to the U.S.

Trump on Sunday also reposted a message by Mike Davis, the former chief counsel for nominations to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley and founder and president of the Article III Project, which defends constitutionalist judges and the rule of law.

Davis urged Trump: “Please revoke Judge Boasberg’s security clearance. He has demonstrated he cannot be trusted with keeping secrets.”

Unruh followed in an April 7 article:

James Boasberg, the federal judge in Washington who repeatedly has disrupted President Donald Trump’s efforts to secure and protect America with his judicial activism, could face impeachment for his actions.

But that’s a long and cumbersome process.

So U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., has introduced a resolution simply to remove him office for refusing to abide by the Constitution’s requirement that judges can remain in office during their “good behavior.”

“We cannot stand by while activist judges who incorrectly believe they have more authority than the duly-elected president of the United States, impose their own political agenda on the American people,” Biggs explained in a statement.

“I have cosponsored resolutions to impeach Judge Boasberg. His removal from office via impeachment, however, will undoubtedly be blocked by Democrats in the Senate, since it requires a two-thirds majority. My resolution, on the other hand, asserts, pursuant to Article III, Section 1, that rogue judges may be removed the same way we confirm them—by a simple majority,” he said.

Unruh followed the next day:

Federal district judges across the nation, at the behest of leftists who oppose President Donald Trump’s and go judge-shopping for the best ruling they can get, have been extremely liberal in their use of nationwide injunctions to try to stop the president’s plans.

But the Supreme Court’s decision that James Boasberg’s decision from his Washington court bench that Trump was not allowed to deport criminal illegal aliens was simply irrelevant is being considered a slapdown to federal judges and their overreach agenda.

Unsurprisingly, Boasberg was not given the opportunity to respond to these attacks. Meanwhile, WND columnists bashed Boasberg as well:

The key judge in that “lower court” is James Boasberg, a Biden appointee, who is the chief judge for the District of Columbia.

Scott Powell of the Discovery Institute writes: 

“Judge Boasberg expressed skepticism about the Trump administration’s policy of using a powerful and rarely invoked wartime statute, the Alien Enemies Act, to summarily deport immigrants from the country. The judge said, ‘The policy ramifications of this are incredibly troublesome and problematic and concerning.'”

With these activist judges, like Boasberg, trying to hamstring President Trump’s attempt to keep America safe from murderous alien gangs, have we the people “ceased to be” our “own rulers”?

This week the Court is already tackling the issue of deporting illegal aliens to Venezuela, as Chief Justice Roberts ordered a speedy response by 10 a.m. on Tuesday from the plaintiffs who persuaded Judge James Boasberg to block deportations by Trump. Already before the high court are cases concerning Trump’s suspension of funding of DEI programs in schools, his termination of birthright citizenship and his firing of probationary federal employees.

Acting Solicitor General Sarah Harris, who formerly clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas, wrote in her brief to the Supreme Court, “Does a single district-court judge who likely lacks jurisdiction have the unchecked power to compel the government of the United States to pay out (and probably lose forever) millions in taxpayer dollars?”

“This court should put a swift end to federal district courts’ unconstitutional reign as self-appointed managers of executive branch funding and grant-disbursement decisions,” she argued.
