WorldNetDaily has long hated Rep. Ilhan Omar for not being a right-wing white woman, even making the unsubstantiated claim that an attack on her earlier this year was staged. That hatred has unsurprisingly continued:

Bob Unruh huffed in a Feb. 26 article:
Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has been embroiled in a long list of controversies in recent weeks. Now she’s added a new line to her to-do list for fights, complaining that a constituent she invited to the State of the Union was arrested after a stunt.
She’s already been shouting down critics of her Minnesota district’s Somali-community fraud on the scale of billions of dollars, criticizing the federal government’s crackdown on illegal aliens there, trying to explain her sudden explosion of wealth and much more.
The newest involves the arrest by police in the Capitol of Aliya Rahman on allegations of “unlawful conduct,” which could bring six months in jail and a $500 fine.
Rahman apparently stood up in the gallery during President Donald Trump’s speech, and is accused of refusing orders to sit down.
The facts of the Rahman case likely will be played out in court, but the fact is while members of Congress are protected by the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause when they berate and badger a president during a speech in the House, constituents are not given the same protections. Stunts in the Capitol can be met with arrests.
Unruh continued to cast aspersions on Rahman :
Omar had invited Rahman because she triggered an “altercation” with federal immigration agents in Minnesota a few weeks ago.
[…]Online reporters noted Rahman had been confronted by officers in the Minnesota altercation, and apparently was given the opportunity to leave peacefully, but didn’t.
In fact, federal agents approached Rahman’s car and shouted conflicting information on where to go, and that an agent punched in her passenger-side window even though her own window was rolled down. She was dragged her out of her car while she shouting that she’s disabled and trying to go to the doctor. She was ultimately treated for injuries consistent with assault and a concussion.
Joe Kovacs chortled in an April 28 article:
U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is being ferociously mocked on social media this week after an unearthed video shows her literally calling World War II “World War 11 (Eleven).”
The clip is from Jan. 22, 2025, as the Democrat pushed for repeal of Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which President Donald Trump used as a tool to rapidly deport Venezuelan gang members who were in America illegally.
“The last time the Alien Enemies Act was invoked, it was used to detain and deport German, Japanese, Italian immigrants during World War Eleven,” Omar stated, as she read from a prepared script.
The “Squad” member then instantly corrected herself, giggling as she said: “Oh … two … sorry.”
Kovacs didn’t explain why it took him more than a year to notice this. Instead, he quoted right-wing actor James Woods calling Omar a “brother-humping Somali grifter” despite the fact that there’s no evidence of Omar having married her brother, let alone had sex with him.
