Naomi Seibt is not the only white, blonde European seeking American help to pursue right-wing causes — with a little help from WorldNetDaily. Joe Kovacs writes in a June 16 article:
A French woman is pleading with American and European patriots for help as her own government is looking to jail her for publicly exposing the dangers African and Arab immigrant men pose to women in France.
“I need your help,” said Thaïs d’Escufon in a video posted Tuesday on X, as she faces a possible six-month prison sentence and $3,500 fine.
“Tomorrow I may be sentenced to unsuspended prison for daring to say on French TV that the main danger to women in France comes from black African and Arab immigrant men, even though I was defending a woman who was herself raped by a Central African man subject to an OQTF order in the courtyard of her Paris apartment building.
“Having myself survived an attempted rape by a Tunisian migrant four years ago, I could not remain silent. But for having spoken these words on television set, the prosecutor has sought a prison sentence against me.”
D’Escufon says the prosecutor “dismissed our two stories as insignificant incidents which did not excuse my hate speech. Yet all I did was describe a reality that most French people are afraid to speak about precisely because the justice system is capable of convicting them for describing what they see with their own eyes and experience firsthand.
Note that d’Escufon admits she engaged in hate speech — the offense for which she was convicted.
The closest Kovacs gets to identifying her political ideology is a passing reference to her being an “identitarian” without an explanation of what that is. In fact, it’s a far-right movement centered on the preservation of white European identity. D’Escufon has also been described as an anti-feminist and a tradwife whose rantings tend to target incels.
Kovacs followed up in a June 22 article:
A woman facing prison for daring to say on French TV that the main danger to women in France comes from black African and Arab immigrant men has been found guilty, but is receiving no jail time despite a fine of 1,000 euros ($1,100).
Anne-Thaïs du Tertre d’Escoeuffant, a 26-year-old who uses the pseudonym Thaïs d’Escufon on social media, is thanking the public for its worldwide support for her as WorldNetDaily reported her plight last week.
“Before your incredible mobilization, the judicial system had set out to crush me,” she said in a new video. “This time, I think the goal was to finish the job by sending me to prison.”
Because of the strong financial support, d’Escoeuffant has decided to appeal the conviction.
D’Escufon then complained that her Instagram account was canceled (again):
Meanwhile, d’Escoeuffant’s second challenge is more personal to her.
“Five months ago, my Instagram account was banned for ‘dangerous organizations.’ That was my 15th account,” she explained. “I can no longer create a new one that’s lasts more than a few months. My name and face are literally blacklisted.
“I filed an appeal, but it was denied. I sent a letter from my lawyer, but my requests to Meta have gone unanswered. I need your help to call them out on this unacceptable censorship. In France, it’s rampant more so than anywhere else in Europe.”
Given that d’Escufon has repeatedly created Instagram accounts to get around bans, it seems that a permanent ban is justified. Again, Kovacs failed to detail her offensive far-right ideology.
