Newsmax Dutifully Pounces On Bolton Raid

Posted on September 19, 2025

As a loyal Trump Regime Media outlet, Newsmax was quick to pounce on the seemingly revenge-related federal raid of former Trump official John Bolton’s house, with commentary largely filled by pro-Trump stooges:

  • Fred Fleitz to Newsmax: Hope No Classified Docs Found in Bolton Raid
  • Napolitano to Newsmax: Bolton Raid Likely Stems From Ruling on Memoir
  • Christina Bobb to Newsmax: Bolton Raid May Reveal ‘Conspiracy to Overthrow’ Trump
  • Trump Blasts ‘Low-Life’ Bolton After FBI Raid on His Home
  • VP Vance: ‘We’re in the Very Early Stages’ of Bolton Probe
  • Peter Navarro to Newsmax: Hold Bolton Accountable
  • Victoria Coates to Newsmax: ‘Surprised’ by FBI Raid on John Bolton’s Home
  • Lewandowski to Newsmax: ‘Likely’ Bolton Had Classified Info
  • Papadopoulos to Newsmax: Democrats Always Accuse Trump of Their Own Misdeeds
  • NY Post: Bolton Sent Classified Documents to Family Before Firing
  • Meadows to Newsmax: Patel Followed Law in Bolton Raid

The biggest stooge, however, was right-wing dirty trickster and swinging enthusiast Roger Stone. Eric Mack caught him chortling about it in an Aug. 22 post:

Longtime GOP operative Roger Stone wasted no time mocking former national security adviser John Bolton after FBI agents raided his Maryland home Friday morning.

“Good morning,” Stone posted on X, “John Bolton.

“How does it feel to have your home raided at 6 o’clock in the morning?”

The jab was a clear reference to Stone’s own high-profile FBI raid in January 2019, when federal agents arrested him at his Florida home as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. Stone rebuked that raid as excessive and politically motivated.

In fact, Stone was found guilty of obstruction, making false statements and witness tampering, and President Trump pardoned him at the end of his first term. Strange that Mack didn’t mention that part.

Stone appeared on Newsmax TV on Aug. 23 to gloat (and whine) some more:

Roger Stone, a former adviser to President Donald Trump, said on Newsmax Friday night that he feels “vindicated” by the FBI’s raid earlier in the day on former National Security Adviser John Bolton’s home, pointing to his own early morning televised raid and arrest in January 2019 as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump.

“I was arrested at 6:06 in the morning; at 6:11 one of the talking heads from CNN sent my lawyer a copy of my sealed indictment,” Stone recalled during his appearance on Newsmax’s “Finnerty.”

“It wouldn’t be unsealed by a federal magistrate for four more hours, and it had no court markings or any time stamp on it,” he added. “But if you looked at the metadata tags, you could see that it had the initials of the man who wrote it. Therefore, the man who leaked it — Andrew Weissmann, the de facto head of the Mueller witch hunt.”

Again, it was not mentioned that Stone was found guilty on charges for which Trump later pardoned him.
