America just lost one of her bravest truth-tellers. Charlie Kirk is dead — not by accident, not by random chance, but by political assassination.
Let’s call it what it is: this was the culmination of a decade-and-a-half-long campaign of escalating left-wing violence against those who dare to stand in the way of the progressive revolution.
Charlie Kirk’s murder is not an isolated tragedy.
It’s the latest casualty in a war the left has been waging on America itself; a war against our history, our culture, our faith, and the very principles that made this nation the freest in human history.
[…]Charlie Kirk’s killers may have silenced his voice, but they cannot silence the millions he inspired. The best way to honor him is not with hashtags or flowers, but with a movement so powerful, so relentless, that it cannot be canceled, cannot be cowed, and cannot be killed.
Charlie Kirk is gone, but his mission cannot die with him. His life was a call to arms, and his death is a rallying cry.
RIP Charlie.
— Robert Chernin, Sept. 11 Newsmax column
Charlie Kirk, whose young life was snuffed out by an assassin’s bullet Wednesday, was the very image of the “happy warrior,” a description associated with the late Ronald Reagan.
He left behind a beautiful, loving wife, Erika, and two cute, adoring children.
Charlie died doing what he loved best — exchanging ideas with left wing college students. Simply by asking questions and suggesting alternatives, he converted many to embrace America’s founding principles — individual liberty, a free market economy, and personal responsibility — the bedrock of conservatism.
[…]Charlie was taken from us far too soon. We were counting on decades more of his innate wisdom, his patriotic voice and cheerful service, but it was not to be.
Charlie we hardly knew ye.
— Michael Dorstewitz, Sept. 12 Newsmax column
Charlie Kirk.
He was killed because he dared to utter words and ideas the left can’t bear to hear . . . ever.
And when a prayer for Charlie Kirk and his family was offered on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, Democrats hooted, yelled, and shouted it down.
They hate prayer and any reverence for Charlie Kirk.
Yes, it’s come to this.
[…]In short, the left is evil. Those of us on the right consistently stand for good.
— Craig Shirley, Sept. 16 Newsmax column
The assassination of Charlie Kirk should prove to be the Pearl Harbor for leftist violence networks. It should be the overt act that finally awakens the sleeping normal, patriotic American citizen.
This murder was not a romantically involved pervert lashing out at the normal and good. It was the culmination of years of left-inspired violence directed at conservatives and law enforcement.
While Kirk’s assassination was by the transgender arm of the left, it’s not an isolated case.
The murder is just the latest example of death dealt by the hydra-headed monster of destruction embodying today’s political left.
[…]Charlie Kirk’s death revealed, “literally thousands of War Department personnel have been identified as countenancing political violence against conservatives.”
Those dancing on Charlie Kirk’s grave should be boogied out of the service with a dishonorable discharge attached to their dancing shoes.
Other military subversives may have had more sense and kept their thoughts to themselves. “Antifa had more than five times as much support among veterans as white supremacist ideology.”
Those service members are a Fifth Column and have no business in uniform.
It’s going to require a full court press from the Trump administration to end the external and internal threat to the republic. Let’s hope the effort will be a through, comprehensive and long-lasting memorial to Charlie Kirk.
And let’s hope it starts soon.
