David Kupelian ranted yet again in a Feb. 17 WorldNetDaily column:
First of all, this is not new – in fact, Democrats have likened every Republican president since Ronald Reagan to Hitler. In the 1980s, Rep. William Clay, D.-Mo., insisted Reagan was “trying to replace the Bill of Rights with fascist precepts lifted verbatim from Mein Kampf.” Former congressman and current Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison compared President George W. Bush to Hitler, while billionaire funder of all things far-Left, perverse and evil, George Soros, agreed that Bush 43 displayed “the supremacist ideology of Nazi Germany.”
You get the idea. The worst people in America accuse the good, moral, decent, law-abiding, God-honoring, Constitution-loving citizens of being Nazis and fascists. In 2016, I documented how five different Washington Post writers explicitly compared Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler during just that year. And that was before he became president!
[…]Unfortunately – and here’s the point of all this – accusing an American president of being another Hitler is not merely disgusting, dishonest, insane and evil. It is an implicit call for his assassination, since the most moral response to the REAL Hitler was to attempt to kill him.
Indeed, the participants in all of the many plots to assassinate Hitler – including renowned Lutheran theologian Deitrich Bonhoeffer, hanged by the Nazis at the age of 39 for his participation in the famed “20 July Plot” (also known as “Operation Valkyrie”) – are today universally considered heroes. The children of Col. Claus Von Stauffenberg, the ringleader of that particular Hitler assassination plot, today celebrate their father in news features, telling London’s Daily Express: “To the family, he was not merely a loving father; he was also a shining hero.” Hollywood even made a blockbuster movie about it (“Valkerie”), starring a dashing Tom Cruise as the heroic would-be assassin Von Stauffenberg.
Do you get it? If you assassinate Hitler – or someone as bad as Hitler – you’re a hero and a patriot! You’ve slain a monster and liberated a grateful people!
Is it any wonder, then, in light of the Democrat-Media Complex’s ongoing orgy of identifying Trump as the new Hitler – and the implicit approval of assassination such an identification inevitably carries with it – that Trump suffered two actual attempts to murder him in 2024?
[…]If you are comparing Adolf Hitler (who murdered 11 million people) with Donald Trump (who murdered zero people), either you are 1) young, stupid and utterly brainwashed by the Left, or you are 2) a conscienceless sociopath who knows better but doesn’t care, since all you really care about is your personal power, wealth and privilege.
Either way, stop it. For God’s sake, just stop it … before the unthinkable happens.
As we’ve repeatedly documented, Kupelian’s employer repeatedly likened President Obama to Hitler and varous other Nazis. Kupelian can’t claim to be “young, stupid and utterly brainwashed,” so we can assume that Kupelian is all about the implicit approval of assassination such an identification inevitably carries with it, and is a conscienceless sociopath who knows better but doesn’t care, since all he really cares about is his personal power, wealth and privilege.
Needless to say, Kupelian is completely silent about his utter hypocrisy on the issue, given how fervently WND insisted Obama was Hitler.
Kupelian further groused:
Joe Biden endlessly repeated “the Charlottesville lie,” which falsely held that Trump had praised “very fine” neo-Nazis at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Yet that lie had been continuously debunked by both left and right for the previous 7 years – including by left-leaning Snopes. Yet Biden and Kamala Harris both cited it continually during the 2024 election season. Why? Because so miserable and perverse was their administration’s track record of failure and disaster, the only thing they could run on was the claim that their opponent was even worse – another Adolf Hitler!
As we’ve documented, the “Charlottesville lie” is itself a lie — to believe otherwise is to insist that protests against removing a statue of Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville, Va., in 2017 weren’t racist and that Donald Trump wasn’t endorsing white supremacists when he said there was “very fine people” on both sides of the debate that day.
Also note that Kupelian refused to admit Biden was, in fact, president — a petty omission that allows him to pretend that Trump’s 2020 election conspiracy theories are true,
