WND Keeps Up Clinton Derangement On Deposition Day

Posted on May 18, 2026

WorldNetDaily’s Clinton Derangement Syndrome regarding Jeffrey Epstein continued on the day of their testimony. Bob Unruh huffed in a Feb. 26 article:

Hillary Clinton, the twice-failed Democrat presidential hopeful, lashed out angrily at President Donald Trump and other Republicans on Thursday as she complied with a U.S. House subpoena and was questioned about her knowledge of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s life, influences, and connections.

Lawmakers planned a long list of questions for her, including about Epstein’s actions as a donor to the foundation set up by Bill and Hillary Clinton. Bill Clinton’s testimony is scheduled to follow Hillary’s.

The grilling, expected to be intense from Democrats as well as Republicans, briefly was interrupted when Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., apparently snapped a photo of the behind-closed-doors questioning.

It reportedly was leaked, violating rules that ban photographs and such, even though the hearing is being recorded and is expected to be made public.

Odd that Unruh considers HIllary’s complaint to be more newsworthy than Boebert making a photo from the hearing public. He also does not seem to consider the fact that the photo was leaked by Boebert herself; indeed, Boebert shared the photo with a right-wing influencer, who posted it to social media. Instead, Unruh complained further:

Clinton, not waiting for questions that loomed, angrily attacked.

She claimed to have “no information” about Epstein’s criminality and does not recall meeting him.

She claimed lawmakers are using her testimony to cover up for President Donald Trump’s “relationship” with Epstein.

“You have compelled me to testify, fully aware that I have no knowledge that would assist your investigation, in order to distract attention from President Trump’s actions and to cover them up despite legitimate calls for answers,” she said in a statement she had prepared.

Unruh then played defense for Trump:

Trump’s name appears in the Epstein documents released by investigators, including one episode where he contacted law enforcement and expressed gratitude they were going to stop him. Trump also ordered Epstein thrown out of his Florida club when he became aware of Epstein’s actions with female staff.

Unruh focused on the the other half of the couple the following day:

Americans have heard it from Bill Clinton’s own words now: “I did nothing wrong.”

His denial came during his grilling by the U.S. House regarding his relationship with, and activities with, the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Clinton is known to have flown dozens of times on Epstein’s “Lolita Express” private jet and appears in a multitude of images with Epstein and those who apparently are some of Epstein’s victims.

A key piece of additional evidence of Clinton’s behavior was presented by podcaster Megyn Kelly as members of Congress were grilling Clinton: An image she said she had permission to reveal that included some of her friends, from a few years ago.

The image shows Clinton standing slightly behind two young girls, staring down the front of their dresses.

In his opening statement, Clinton claimed, “As someone who grew up in a home with domestic abuse, not only would I not have flown on his plane if I had any inkling of what he was doing — I would have turned him in myself and led the call for justice for his crimes, not sweetheart deals.”

He claimed, “I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong.”

[…]

Clinton appears in Epstein-related photographs including on a plane seated alongside a woman, whose face is redacted, with his arm around her. Another photo showed Clinton and Maxwell in a pool with another person.

Unruh was silent about the fact that Trump also appears in photos with Epstein.

An anonymously written March 2 article hyped videos of the depositions:

The video recordings of Bill and Hillary Clinton, answer questions from the House Oversight Committee, under oath, about their knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein and his activities, have been posted online:

Hillary Clinton, under subpoena, said she never met Epstein. Bill Clinton, also under subpoena, said he never knew of anything that happened that would be wrong.

WND did not contradict those statements.
