WorldNetDaily has unsurprising chosen a candidate it wants to win a Texas Senate seat: Ken Paxton. that means trashing the competition, James Talarico. For instance:
- ‘Total robot’: Stunning video shows ‘android’ James Talarico voicing ‘rehearsed’ claim, word-for-word
- ‘He looks like he wants to puke’: Anti-meat champion James Talarico now shoving all kinds of meat in his mouth, internet goes wild with reaction
- Forget ‘loving the trans children’: James Talarico suddenly comes out AGAINST child sex changes after singing a very different tune!
Joe Kovacs got help with doing that for a May 27 article:
In the wake of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s crushing blowout of incumbent Republican Sen. John Cornyn by more than 27 points, President Donald Trump announced Wednesday he would personally hold rallies for the Republican winner, and he labeled the Democrat candidate James Talarico as Alfred E. Neuman, the famous cartoon mascot of Mad magazine.
“Congratulations to Ken Paxton on such a tremendous win, and to John Cornyn for having run a strong and powerful race but, more importantly, having had a truly great career,” Trump said on Truth Social.
“John will remain my friend for a long time to come, as we both watch Ken become a fantastic, common sense Senator, one who is respected by all.
“His opponent, Alfred E. Neuman, may be the worst TEXAS candidate I have ever seen.
[…]Last week, the Lone Star Liberty PAC which supports Paxton released an ad compiling many of Talarico’s own statements, claiming: “Low-T Talarico is too weak for Texas.”
Kovacs didn’t explain how the pro-Paxton PAC could be so knowledgeable about Talarico’s testosterone levels.
Kovacs parroted an attack on Talarico by Paxton himself in a May 31 article:
Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says he is not expecting a difficult race against Democrat James Talarico for U.S. Senate, despite polls showing tight margins and an expected surge of massive campaign cash from leftists pushing Talarico in the Lone Star State.
Appearing on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel, Paxton said, “I think it’s pretty easy to do in Texas because this guy doesn’t represent Texas values. I’m not even sure he could get elected in California. His views are so radical, once exposed.”
“He’s trying to walk them back right now: his vegan campaign views, his saying the American flag is a complicated symbol, his talking about God being non-binary and pushing men into women’s sports. The list goes on and this isn’t just me making this up. This is what he actually said, and now he’s complaining that I’m quoting him with his strange, weird comments.”
Kovacs did admit that Paxton has been called “scandal-plagued,” but he refused to explain what those scandals are — specifically, committing adultery and getting impeached — and he let Paxton explain it away. Kovacs also refused to allow Talarico an opportunity to respond to Paxton’s charges.
