WorldNetDaily writer Bob Unruh continues his campaign of hate against transgender people in a May 30 article:
One commentary is calling the social ideologies of Tom Steyer, a Democrat running for governor in California, “transanity.”
The comment followed a video posted online of Steyer praising a boy for competing in girls sports in school, and expressing Steyer’s hope for the boy’s success.
“I’m going to hope like heck that you don’t just make state but you do really well there,” he told the miniskirt-wearing boy.
Social media scorched Steyer.
“”Demonrats have made it 100% clear: They DO NOT CARE if women get hurt trying to play sports against men who are bigger and stronger.”
And, “This will become the norm if Democrats take over our government again.”
Unruh refused to allow statements supporting Steyer into his article. He also failed to mention that under a policy from California’s governing body for high school sports that if a transgender athlete advances or places on a podium, the next-highest-scoring girl will also get to move on to the next round or win the same medal. He further failed to explain how, exactly, being transgender is an “ideology.”
Unruh cheered in a June 9 article:
The Cleveland Clinic, once one of the prominent leaders in mutilating “transgender” procedures for children, is promising $2 million in help for detransitioners now in a settlement reached with the Department of Justice.
The settlement, reported the Hill, explains that detransition services “include medical care for hormonal balancing, surgical revision and reconstruction, fertility restoration, psychological support, and insurance coordination.
The deal reveals that the clinic will offer detransition services to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
It is the second major health care facility to reach agreement with the Trump administration in its agenda to protect children from the chemicals, drugs, and surgeries of that industry.
Unruh failed to disclose that the clinic stated “not much is changing, because it already provides that care. But transgender advocates say the settlement with such a high-profile institution lends credibility to a politically charged effort to roll back transgender healthcare across the country.”
Meanqhile, an anonymously written June 3 article that a fellow hater got punished for her hate:
A woman has been ordered to pay $10,000 in damages because her comments about transgenderism – recommending a friend not pursue “top surgery” – caused “hurt feelings.”
It is in a report at LifeSiteNews that the case of Kristin Olsen, of British Columbia Canada, is described.
Her case now is pending before a provincial Supreme Court, after a human rights “tribunal” ordered her to pay $10,000 for her private comments to a friend.
The Justice Center for Constitutional Freedoms now is working on her case.
The origins of the fight were comments she made during a conversation with a friend, at that time, Terry Wiebe.
Wiebe lived at Olsen’s property from 2014-2018 and the two shared working and living arrangements at the time.
[…]The report explained, “Wiebe had told Olsen she was considering a mastectomy or ‘top surgery.’ The tribunal noted that Olsen was concerned about Wiebe undergoing the procedure, due to her mother having had breast cancer and other risks associated with the procedure.”
Olsen then allegedly told Wiebe not to have the surgery, as she was “fine as a lesbian.”
Olsen denied describing the procedure as mutilating Wiebe’s body, but the Tribunal claimed she did, and ended up ordering the $10,000 damage payment to Wiebe, “as a result of injury to feelings and self-respect.”
The article omitted the fact that Olsen was accused of evicting Wiebe from the property over the issue, meaning it was not just an issue of “hurt feelings”; the closest it gets to acknowledging that fact is a complaint from Olsen that “the tribunal blew the decision by finding that a tenancy relationship existed.”
