WND Melts Down That Mamdani Used ‘C-Word’ In Speech

Posted on March 3, 2026

WorldNetDaily has had its share of meltdowns over Zohran Mamdani getting elected mayor of New York City, and that continued in an anonymously written Jan. 1 article:

Newly sworn-in New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani promised to lead the Big Apple into “the warmth of collectivism” – a clearly Marxist/communist reference – as he delivered his inauguration speech Thursday.

Mamdani also embraced the term “democratic socialist,” saying, “”I was elected as a democratic socialist and I will govern as a democratic socialist.”

WND followed that the next day with another anonymously written article featuring a video of a right-wing activist’s preferred definitions:

Fox News contributor Mollie Hemingway explained to viewers the reality of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s vision for residents to experience “the warmth of collectivism.”

Unsurprisingly, Mamdani was not given an opportuynity to rebut Hemingway.
