WND’s Unruh Can’t Stop Obsessively Hating Transgender People

Posted on June 23, 2026

WorldNetDaily writer Bob Unruh’s obsessive hatred for transgender people continued in a March 3 article:

In what is being described as a “watershed moment for parental rights,” the Supreme Court has blown up, for now, a state’s scheme to secretly push trangenderism on children in school, and hide the activism from parents who are responsible for the upbringing of those same children.

“The Supreme Court has told California and every state in the nation in no uncertain terms: you cannot secretly transition a child behind a parent’s back,” explained Paul Jonna, a lawyer at the Thomas More Society.

“The court’s landmark reaffirmation of substantive due process, its vindication of religious liberty, and its approval of class-wide relief together set a historic precedent that will dismantle secret gender transition policies across the country,” Jonna said.

The Supreme Court’s action was to affirm an injunction against the state’s gender secrecy agenda, which was intended by officials in the leftist state to require school staff hide any student’s “transgender identity” from parents.

Unruh went on to huff:”The trigger was a young girl indoctrinated by school teachings into transgenderism. Her parents only found out about the agenda when she tried to commit suicide.” He offered no evidence of this purported “indoctrination.” And while the ruling claimed to involve the religious rights of parents, Unruh did not explain how a transgender child is going against that.

Unruh huffed further in a March 11 article:

For months, authorities did not respond as a transgender serial killer was allowed to share a home with two children.

Now they’ve moved to separate the convict from the kids, and Kate Washington, the minister for families and communities where the situation developed, admitted it “should never have happened” and it was “entirely unacceptable.”

Unruh waited until the fourth paragraph that this happened in Australia, not the United States. He went after another transgender in a March 17 article:

It’s a fight over whether a Christian organization, Liberty University, is allowed to fire a man who took a job as a man, signed a doctrinal statement affirming the significance of and agreeing to abide by biblical beliefs and standards, then reneged on his promise and was fired.

LGBT activists claim it’s a fight between the man’s transgender rights and the religious rights protections afford by the Constitution to the school, but there’s more to it than that.

It was Jonathan Zinski who was hired at Liberty for a tech job, and as part of the job process signed a doctrinal statement required by the school. Immediately after a 90-day probationary period passed, he announced that he was now a woman, and would identify as such.

Unruh went on to whine that “Media reports constantly explain that the dismissal came right after he came out ‘as transgender,’ and leave out the part about him abrogating the doctrinal statement he signed.” He went on to quote the right-wing Liberty Counsel insisting that the “ministerial exception” in the agreement applies to the transgender person, even though he worked in a tech job, and he doesn’t explain how, exactly, being transgender violates any tenet of Christianity.
