Media Research Center Nicholas Fondacaro continued his hate-watching war against ABC’s “The View” for failing to be the right-wing shills he demands of it:
- The View’s ‘Republican’ Guest Co-Host Flops When Asked About Her Conservative Values
- The View Attacks Conservative Woman Telling Women to Marry, Have Kids
- ABC News Just Learned White House Has a Bunker, Claims Trump to Hold Out There
- The View Continues to Smear Isabel Brown for Encouraging Marriage, Kids (Fondacaro didn’t disclose that he regularly smears the hosts of “The View”)
- After Failing to Lobby Her to Become a Democrat, The View Hates MTG Again
- The View Whine ‘Cannibal’ Trump Attending WHCD, Now They’re Not Going
- The View DEMANDS You Stop Blaming Violence on Liberals, Claims Trump Is a Dictator
- The View Whines Trump ‘Exploiting’ Assassination Attempt for Agenda
- The View Tries to Stymie Rubio 2028 Surge, Suggests He’s a Race Traitor
- The View: Trump Child Plan Is for Making ‘Toddler White Nationalists’
- The View Demands Votes for Democrats ‘If Americans Want This to End’
- The View Suggest NFL QB Jaxson Dart Should Be Injured for Supporting Trump
- The View: Trump ‘Cruel and Sadistic’ for Not Importing Ebola Patients
- The View Defends Jill Biden Propping Up Joe: ‘She Did What She Thought She Should’
Fondacaro also rehashed old grievances, such as in an April 2 post:
Accused felon and disgraced former CNN host Don Lemon got emotional during an appearance on Thursday’s edition of The View while recalling his arrest by federal agents. The far-left activist pretending to be journalist nearly broke down in tears as he suggested President Trump almost had him disappeared that day… if not for one of the arresting FBI agents who delivering his bracelet to his husband. He also falsely suggested they didn’t have a warrant to arrest him.
Completely downplaying the charges that Lemon was not acting as a journalist but rather as part of the far-left mob that broke into a St. Paul church and intentionally disrupted the service, The View cast and Lemon himself suggested he was “specifically being targeted by this administration.” “So, yeah, I think that I was targeted,” he agreed with his close friend, The View co-host, and former federal prosecutor Sunny Hostin.
[…]Lemon’s theatrics were ridiculous. While they were whining that authorities still had his phone as evidence, they likely gave it to him so he could call his lawyer once he was booked, who would have let people know and did. He specifically noted that he retained a lawyer long before he was arrested: “When I heard Todd Blanche and Pam Bondi and others talking about this, I got an attorney…”
Fondacaro offered no evidence that Lemon intentionally disrupted the service. Then again, he and his fellow MRC co-workers remain giddy that he was arrested.
Fondacaro did more whining in an April 10 post:
As ABC News’ The View headed into their Spring Break this week, they kicked off the important midterm election year (2026) with a parade of liberal guests espousing their view points. A Media Research Center study documenting which political views The View allowed to be expressed on the show discovered that 27 guests delivered liberal view points versus only one conservative.
What made the breakdown particularly troublesome for The View was the recent scrutiny they found themselves under from the Federal Communications Commission, which was looking to possibly enforce the ‘equal time’ requirement for political candidates. Of the nine politicians who were guests on The View, five of them were announced candidates when they appeared on the show. One more would announce their reelection not long after.
[…]The View faced public controversy over their lack of conservative guests in 2025.
Last year, co-host Joy Behar claimed that Republicans wouldn’t go on the show because “they’re afraid of us.” Which led to a slew of prominent conservative influencers, journalists (including NewsBusters), and politicians coming forward with evidence of the show either rejecting or ignoring their appearance requests (including people they had on previously).
The View cast responded on their Behind the Table podcast by suggesting most conservatives didn’t live up to the “certain caliber of guest” they felt the show demanded. Behar claimed that those reaching out were essentially just nobodies with small businesses and no influence in the party, which was just not true.
Fondacaro didn’t explain why any random right-wing must be allowed to appear on “The View.” It’s not like Tim Graham has any liberal guests on his podcast. Speaking of which, Graham had on both Fondacaro and Brown to rant about the show on his April 5 podcast, which Fondacaro wrote up:
Executive Editor Tim Graham and I welcome Daily Wire’s Isabel Brown to discuss how she managed to unintentionally trigger the Cackling Coven of ABC’s The View into an absolute meltdown by encouraging women to get married and have kids during a CPAC panel. Brown dismantles The View co-hosts and calls out their hypocrisy since most were happily married, and most had kids of their own.
Following a CPAC panel late last month, conservative activist and podcaster Isabel Brown drew the ire of the ABC News program for saying this to encourage and inspire women:
If you’re not encouraging your children to grow up and have the courage to get married and have kids, more kids than they can afford before they think they’re ready, it is high time to start. It is these choices like deleting our dating apps and quitting birth control pills and saying I do at the altar that ultimately trickle down into the political policies that we will see save our country.
[…]As NewsBusters’ resident View watcher, I have the numbers and soundbites to prove they refuse to have on serious conservative guests who would run circles around them. I also note they actually had a free day they could invite her.
Again, Fondacaro offered no reason that a right-wingers should appear on “The View” just because they demand it.
