The Media Research Center continued to serve as Trump Regime Media in advance on Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit to “The View.” Chief “View” hate-watcher Nicholas Fondacaro huffed in a June 15 post:
Ahead of Vice President J.D. Vance’s appearance on ABC’s purported “bona fide news program” The View this week, the third conservative to appear on The View all year, NewsBusters wanted to take a jaunt down memory lane to look back at what they’ve said about him. They’ve claimed he teamed up with Elon Musk to assassinate President Trump, called him “sociopathic,” mocked his name, and suggest he and Trump were responsible for the assassination attempts; among many others. Here are some of the nasty things The View had spewed about him.
A month after President Trump had won the 2024 presidential election, and a few months after back-to-back attempts on Trump’s life, moderator Whoopi Goldberg and co-host Joy Behar teamed up to suggest Vance and Musk were plotting to murder Trump in the White House by pushing him down the stairs:
[…]Hopefully, Vance will return the favor and press The View cast on these lies and question them about how they’re purportedly a “bona fide news program.”
Tim Graham was in a name-calling mood on his podcast as he ranted at the “effete snobs of the leftist media” and had Fondacaro as a guest:

The ladies of The View fussed about interviewing Vice President Vance as part of a book tour for his book about his faith journey, titled Communion. In the last few months, The View attacked Vance for suggesting he’d like his Hindu wife to become a Christian — and these conspiracy theorists also kookily claimed Vance and Elon Musk were plotting to kill Trump.
The MRC’s nepo-baby chief, meanwhile, went on another right-wing radio show to spout his talking points:

On a recent episode of The Ray Stevens Show on WLS Chicago, host Ray Stevens sat down with David Bozell, President of the Media Research Center (MRC), to break down the strategy. According to Bozell, the appearance is less about a casual interview and more about political survival for ABC. MRC data reveals a staggering partisan disparity on The View—tracking 128 liberal guests to just two conservative voices. Bozell speculates that the network, currently facing intense FCC scrutiny over its programming balance, likely extended the invite expecting a rejection.
Instead, Vance accepted. Bozell notes that the modern cabinet consists of “seasoned media professionals” who actually gravitate toward hostile environments to stay sharp. While the panel will undoubtedly try to drive a wedge between Vance and the President, Bozell expected Vance’s intellect to rise above the sniping.
Predictably, nobody was allowed to rebut Bozell’s attacks.
